For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kris Bates. Not too long ago, I was just a simple-minded web designer, snowboard instructor, whitewater raft guide, and all-around-vagabond. All that changed in the Spring of 2012 when I got the chance to work for a great company, M/I Homes in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Knowing very little about real estate, and even less about new home construction, I was certain that I would be perfect for the job and decided to take the plunge! Now, nearly a year later, I've almost gotten past the trickiest test I'll ever take and should be getting my Provisional Broker's License just as we start a new year (Mayan Prophecies be damned!).
